Afternoon Trip to Cobh
An excursion to Cobh Heritage Centre will take place on the afternoon of Wednesday 27 July. The visit will include “The Queenstown Story” exhibition which will introduce delegates to Ireland’s maritime history, from emigration and convict vessels to the ill-fated Titanic and Lusitania. There will also be time to see the town of Cobh itself, historically Ireland’s most important port of emigration and one of the world’s largest natural navigable harbours. http://www.cobhheritage.com/
