Theo Dorgan

Theo DorganTheo Dorgan is a poet, prose writer, editor, translator, documentary screenwriter and lecturer. He is from Cork and holds a MA in English Literature from UCC. His work has been translated into several languages, including French, Spanish and Italian. He was awarded the Listowel Prize for Poetry in 1992 and the O’Shaughnessy Prize for Irish Poetry in 2010. Most recently he has won the 2015 Irish Times Poetry Now Award for his collection Nine Bright Shiners (2014).
